Jocelyn is a supportive and responsive community leader, consistently taking action to promote inclusiveness, accessibility, and undermining oppression in the spaces she's a part of.

Her leadership is guided by deep care and courageous vulnerability; she leverages her own experiences of trauma and healing to invite others to move beyond shame and through their own healing journeys.

With her vast and varying skill set, Jocelyn brings an unmatched level of passion, tenacity, hope and promise for all with whom she comes in contact. Her spirit and enthusiasm are contagious.

The local TV station and newspapers were eager to report about teen sexuality and interviewed Jocelyn both before and after the Sex in the Suburbs event. Jocelyn spoke to 140 parents/professionals, it was her name and comments that were on everyone’s lips as they were filing out of the venue. They were just wowed.

If anyone can teach a young person about how to find their passion and then find a way to make the necessary connections to work in that area, Jocelyn can.

I always respected Jocelyn for her intelligence, courage, excellent follow-through and commitment to social justice.

I really enjoyed listening to Jocelyn’s presentation on Career Success! It was great how she asked the kids questions and had them so engaged throughout the entire time.

It is hard to imagine a more passionate, committed, hard-working, grounded or intriguing woman than Jocelyn. She believes in the essential goodness of all human beings.

Jocelyn has a natural ability to see people. Her upbeat attitude and inherent curiosity contribute greatly to how well she listens and hears whomever she is paying attention to. She’s quick to research resources and new directions as she joins her clients on their path. Her well-honed leadership skills coupled with a deep compassion for others make her excellent to work with.

Jocelyn has worked with my son these past two months and we’ve seen a big difference in his job search. In fact, in addition to the JCC job he now works part-time for a lighting/media production company, too. They hired him to work at SXSW. I have given Jocelyn’s name to two of my friends whose children need a little help looking for work. One is a girl in high school who is trying to find her first job and the other a 23 year old young man who will graduate from college soon. I’m very impressed by Jocelyn’s work.

At the beginning of the pandemic, Jocelyn led the way to create and grow a highly successful virtual meditation community. As a member of this community, I personally witnessed Jocelyn’s organizational abilities, and the sensitivity and skill she brings to working with others as a social worker and mindfulness practitioner. I believe Jocelyn’s unique combination of talents will enable her to compassionately coach and support others to be better leaders.

Jocelyn creates spaces that are vulnerable and compassionate. Jocelyn has a deep passion for activism and social justice, with a strong commitment towards working to make spaces more inclusive.

I've known Jocelyn for four months. Jocelyn was supportive in having patience, encouragement and asked how I was going to take care of myself. Jocelyn is clever and brilliant. She is able able to provide additional supportive resources and able to help guide with a different and diverse perspectives. She has determination and commitment to reach out to encourage clients to remake their lives by taking back what was taken from them. She provides that additional support to help others believe in themselves to become healed, and happily thriving.

Jocelyn saw something in me and continually encouraged me to be the shining star that I am; that encouragement has stayed with me and helped me to never forget what I’m capable of. Jocelyn is a motivator and sounding board that I am so happy to have in my life.

Jocelyn offers unconditional love and support to her clients. She was instrumental in helping me in my healing journey and I am grateful for her expert guidance. I most appreciate how Jocelyn met me wherever I was. She was able to provide whatever I needed - encouragement, information, ideas, or simply being seen and heard. I was in my 50s before I discovered that trauma recovery even existed and I wondered if it was worth it at that age. Now, I believe it is never too late to heal, and at 57 I am enjoying my life more than ever before.

The resulting energy of connection and willing vulnerability in the room moves me every time. This experience of abundant caring attention and respectful sharing is a powerful antidote to trauma. Jocelyn has a gift of compassionate leadership that will benefit any group she leads…People wrote on the evaluations of the trust and safety they felt in the group.

Jocelyn is such a role model and inspiration to me. I wanted to let her know how far I’ve come. I now run a girls sexual abuse group. Jocelyn helped me transform from victim to survivor, and without her, I never could have been as brave.
